Garden Hacks You Need to Know!

Frankie shares simple garden hacks like how to make your own citronella candles and how to stop the bunnies from eating your seedlings.

1. To get rid of mice, moles and voles, bury an empty wine bottle unto the ground, with just the top 1-2 inches stick out. The wind will pass over the bottle and cause it to vibrate, which will drive the rodents crazy so they leave!

2. Got bunnies eating your seedlings? Place plastic forks upright in the garden (prong side up) around your seedlings to discourage bunnies and cats from eating. They won't like the feel of the forks touching them.

3. Sprinkle used coffee grounds around your containers and gardens to discourage squirrels. They are also good for improving your soil

4. To keep mosquitoes at bay, place leaves from the Citrosa plant with slices of lemon and twigs of Rosemary into a glass mason jar and add water. Float a citronella candle on top for added bug control and a great table decoration!
